Parkville Microbrew Festival

This collaboration braggot (half beer half mead) between Brew Lab and Black Labs Meadery, Olathe, KS features rare black raspberries then back-sweetened with local buckwheat honey.

When our friends at The Rieger offered us some of their old barrels we jumped at the opportunity to hold on to a little bit of Kansas City history. This brew's moniker is a nod to that rich brewing tradition in our fair metro. Founded by Heim brewing, Electric Park was called the Coney Island of Kansas City and later inspired Walt Disney to begin his theme park empire. Those storied lands are now in the hands of The Rieger, preserving that legacy. History lesson aside, we knew it would take a big beer to handle all the flavor from a boozy barrel. This imperial stout is rich, chocolatey and warm with whisky notes. Roasty and toasty, with clear oak character, this large stout is the closest we've come to our own thrill ride. Cheers!

We combined a traditional oatmeal stout with some great flavors from South of the border. Rich chocolate, spicy cinnamon and smooth vanilla round out a thick, delicious beer.

We can't bring your youth back, but we definitely can remind you of it with this citrusy sweet, dairy rich vanilla milkshake ipa. Pearl malt, oats, citra and mosaic hops, lactose and vanilla beans all brewed together to create this thick, fruity and milky speciality IPA. It's an up to date take on a classic flavor combination that we hope you enjoy. Old school arcade games not included.
